Platform fees and revenue breakdown.

Summary

Users playing Cabal.Team incur fees for certain actions like selling influencers through the marketplace. Along with supporting the ongoing development and maintenance of the protocol, these fees help sustain the games economy and mechanics.

All fees and platform revenues are automatically and instantly divided amongst holders in real-time, other than the direct buy fee of an influencer, of which 20% is burnt.

Revenue Sources

Current revenue sources for the platform include:

  • Direct influencer sale fee - 20% $CABAL burn. The first 20 copies of an influencer are available for direct sale through the platform, 20% of the fee to buy them is automatically burnt.

  • Marketplace sales - 5% fee distributed to holders. Influencers sold on the makretplace incur a 5% fee, rolled into the total sale price, this fee is distributed to holders. Currently the marketplace only supports $CABAL, $ETH will be added shortly and that fee will also be distributed amongst holders.

  • Platform withdrawals - 5% fee distributed to holders. Withdrawing game earnings from the platform incurs a small 5% fee, which is driven back to holders automatically.

Distribution

Fees and revenue are distrubted automatically to holders, proportionate to the amount of $CABAL they hold between their wallet and unclaimed game earnings.

Earnings from fees and revenue can be claimed every 14 days.
